US Immigration from Malaysia

Got in touch with my congressman and was hoping to expedite on three reasons. Was wondering if the forum can help if all or any of the reasons would allow expedition?

• We filed in Feb 1, 2022. Therefore, it's been over a year. I understand that the USCIS hasn't processed our submissions yet based on the data but when we filed, they said it would be processed in 11 months
• We have welcomed our daughter in December 2022. I'm currently overseas with my little family now but would obviously like to raise her in the US asap
• I was on paternity leave with my company but that expired two weeks ago and I decided to leave my position (For various reasons). Fortunately we have family to stay with and some savings to get through. Would like for everything to process quicker so I can get back and start working again (I'm planning on returning earlier to get a job to prove that I can support my family financially)

Curious if any of these reasons would push the issue to expedite my case. I hate the idea of jumping ahead of others in the queue but with current timelines, I feel like it might take another year before my fianc has her VISA in-hand.

Or does anyone have any experience in your respective congressman just asking the USCIS where the application is in the queue and that magically speeds it up?

My wife is helping a family member through drug rehab with the help of doctors within the Malaysian Medical system. He requires 24-hour supervision at this point. She has been out of the U.S. for 7 months and will probably remain for up to 11 months potentially. What kinds of problems can we anticipate when she comes back into the country. I understand the statute is less than 1 year out of country without Green Card forfeiture, but it appears anything over 6 months raises red flags from Border patrol. She has a letter from the doctor stating our son's condition and care as well as medical bills. Any other recommendations from any Green Card holders who have experienced prolonged stays out of country? In the future we will file for a reentry visa before leaving again. Any advice on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

For the interview, is it necessary to bring any original documents, or can they be copies? For example, the NOA2, divorce certificate, birth certificate, tax transcripts, etc..

What is the worst that can possibly happen if someone who is applying for AOS from a K1 visa has the waiver for vaccines denied?

I'm asking this theoretically because we're not to that stage yet. But I'm worrying about this so trying to calm my fears.

I've sent two inquires to the USCIS myself the wording on the responses I got basically said my case was waiting adjudication. I just got a response from the inquiry my senator did for me, and the wording on that one sounds more hopeful. It said that our case has been assigned to an officer and it's being reviewed and to expect correspondence soon. Does this mean that our case is making progress, or do they just give better sounding responses to congressional inquires?
