US Immigration from Lebanon

Hello Everyone,

I was forced to file 2020 tax as MFS, since my spouse did not have either Itin or SSN. Now she got SSN and I'd like to amend my 2020 tax return that has been already accepted to change filing status to MFJ.

I'm working on 1040X form. Also, I Wondering if we get the missing stimulus payments we missed in 2020? If so how can we do that?

Hello, I ve got dq in august 2021, for ir2 case based in lebanon. So I ve found a case like mine in lebanon also got dq 2 weeks before me in august and already got an interview letter but their case is ir1. Does that mean that I ll get mine soon? Or ir1 have more priority than ir2?

and another question , how us embassies work during holidays?

Hello, we ve submitted additional documents asked by nvc in 2 july & one in 13 August 2021. I ve been checking on the nvc timeframes and realized that they are reviewing 15 August, passed my date. And I opened nvc and the documents are still submitted and not reviewed!

any clue about it? I know I should call them but I m not sure they re gonna reply.

i got the approval for my son immigrant visa ( i am half american/ half lebanese didn live for 5 years in the us i was born in lebanon and raised in lebanon but my mum 's family are original from texas ) willing to move soon to the state , so i applied the 1-130 and do all the steps required and paid the fees , untill i arrived to the step that i am waiting since 4 months that the NVC will see the documents and the application (DS-260) to give me an appointment in the embassy of beirut. till now i didnt receive any reply and i dont know where is my case ?!! can someone help me please
