we just paid the fees for NVC and still waiting for them to be processed.

What should I prepare while waiting? Is there any documents I NEED to submit?

Question/Situation, my mother-in-law recently got her visitor visa renewal application denied. The CBP officer didn t cancel her current valid visitor visa. Could she still come to visit us until her visa expiry date?

I was wondering if someone could help me understand the process of applying for CTZNship better. We have been in the US on EB3 GC since May 2018- when can we start applying for the process? Any input appreciated.

I went to the Denver USCIS center yesterday with a young man for moral support to attend his N400 interview. While waiting outside, I noticed people happily exiting the building every 5-10 minutes holding their white envelopes and little flags. I thought that was odd, as I expected oath ceremony attendees would have left all at once.

Well, less than an hour of waiting and my young friend came out and told me he passed the interview, was administered the oath and was given his pre-printed certificate on the spot by the officer who interviewed him!!!

Starting a new thread to track filers from the above month who are YET to receive an N400 interview appointment. From various discussion threads , it appears that individuals who applied during these 3 months are the largest affected group - largely forgotten.

Let's try to get together and see what happens over the next few weeks , identify recourse and report on any updates/changes to their respective case , that might be helpful to all.

Applied on May 26, 2020

Field Office: Newark , NJ

Biometrics notification: Dec 30,2020

Biometrics done: Jan 26,2021

Since January , I have attempted to call USCIS every alternate month with no real outcome. Occasionally a kind agent would put an enquiry on my behalf which would swiftly be responded by the Newark Field office as 'being within processing times' . Otherwise the standard agent reply has been essentially 'continue to wait'.
