US Immigration from Jamaica

My lawyer is not really helping . After i send the packet is their a link or something I can check to get maybe a priority number or status update or anything ? Have anybody have any luck with getting a EAD approval recently ? My lawyer said another one of her clients call congress about it and had an approval within a week. Have anyone tried that ?

Has anyone recently abandoned their K1 process and got married instead? If so can you share you journey please?

I had my k1 visa approved at the beginning of the year, I didn t get to schedule my interview because there wasn t any available appointment date, then covid19 happened. I ve been religiously checking for new appointments opening, today I realized that appointments are now available, with the earliest being November 9, 2021. This is so depressing. Anyone else going through the same ordeal?

Hey y'all so... (Long Post)

I applied n400 in July 2019 was scheduled for interview April 2020 for NYC Queens which was then de-scheduled... I also have outstanding i-751. Here's the timeline of events based on my account notifications and inquiry

-March- Interview de-scheduled Queens

-April- I moved (same state different city new office should have jurisdiction)

-April- updated my address using form for both cases

-May- updated status online account my n400 has moved and new office has jurisdiction

-June- did inquiry for i-751 - case moved to office with new jurisdiction (Albany) received another extension letter NBC listed as address

- August- interview rescheduled for N400. Letter states Queens as location for interview. Letter has my new address ( which means they obviously got the change of the address right? )

-Today Aug - call USCIS my n400 is at Queens but my i-751 is in Albany

The tier 1 rep I spoke to say they didn't update my address in all the right places so my case N400 never left Queens... Then what was the change in office notification I got in May. It was obviously already in Queens if my interview was scheduled, right? So if it got transferred should it not have been to Albany? Which is why I never even thought to do an inquiry.

Anyways the rep is telling me I should change the address again. I don't actually want to. I'm much closer to NYC, (I actually still work in NYC) than I am to Albany and additionally, I don't want to then have to wait again for my interview to be scheduled in Albany. The rep also suggests that they might not actually do the interview when I go because they'll ask where I live and will say they can't do the interview bc the office is incorrect. I requested a tier 2 call back but I have no hopes in that.

So I'm looking for suggestions and insight into this one. I know they can't actually approve my n400 either bc I can't do a combo if the cases are in different offices. What do you all think.
