Hello,

My husband s case was documentary completed on November 10, 2020. He is currently living in Jamaica and awaiting for a interview to be scheduled and also to do his medical. I however was told that by NVC that the US embassy in Jamaica is not currently issuing CR1 visas. I just want to confirm if anyone has heard about this? Before NVC received our case, he had applied for a B-1 tourist visa while he waited. He has an appointment on February 2, 2021, should we still keep this appointment for the tourist visa, since the embassy is holding off on the cr1 visa, or would this affect his case?

Is it ok to submit screen shots of our text conversations if they contain foul language?

Hi everyone,

I checked the forums and I'm not sure if I see to many concerns about this topic yet. My husband has been here almost a year and has not received his green card because he has not been able to get an appointment to complete his biometrics. Also, I saw a YouTube video that said biometric appointment have not only been backlogged due to COVID but also the Trump administration.

Does anyone have more information about this? My husband's main concern involves traveling because he does not want to travel without his green card.
