US Immigration from Jamaica

Hi everyone!

I know of a few people receiving 60-day progress letters from NVC and also read it here, but my husband (the beneficiary) has not received such an email. We used an attorney, but they have not received an email either.

Should I be concerned?

For reference, our DQ date is 11/2/21 and his visa class is now IR1.

This is really a long wait

Does anyone have any good news about getting interview dates?

I have a question.... My tax transcript is enough to sponsor my son but i was doing two jobs now am doing one. I don't see a reason why it should affect it because NVC don't ask for employment letter. So I should be good. But my brother told me that he had to get a co sponsor when sponsoring his wife because he wasn't doing two jobs any more, Even though the tax had his too job and had more than enough. It doesn't make sense to me. Can some one please shed some light on this matter

My husband petitioned for his mom using the I130, she moved to the US with US last Friday. Now we are at a stand still because we don't know what to do next, will they automatically mail her a green card? Once she receives a green card, then we can have her apply for a social ?

The embassy gave a short message: does not need interview. Need to complete random test. with a link to the portal for the instructions to mail up passport and picture and a authorization paper to do so.
my fianc e mailed in his passport and pic as the instructions stated.
However, I was under the assumption that you have to go back to medical before they finalize your visa . His ban ended April 27, 2022 and his first random test was September 2021. That message from the embassy is so unclear. I asked before when is the random drug test considered complete ? At the end of your ban date or one year from your 1st random test ? Still never can get a straight clear answer.
I emailed the embassy asking for clarification of how to complete random testing or what is considered complete?
Do you think the embassy just going to issue the visa with out a final medical ?

my fianc still in the random testing pool and need to wait for more instructions?

or

the embassy officer messed up and didn t give all of the proper information (schedule medical appt) to complete the case ?
I m stuck between these three options
