US Immigration from Indonesia

Me and my wife just got an rfe for not submitting her birth certificate and translation into English but we both know for sure that we did. Do they get lost easily or something? We re both wondering how something we know for sure we sent ended up coming back saying they have never received it. Any suggestions unfortunately with the whole usps and potential furlough of USCIS this isn t the best timing to have a delay on something we didn t even do wrong.

Any suggestions, advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

What's your gut feeling if the furlough will happen (Political comments are not needed)

Hi, I m in the process of filling form N400. There is a question about work/ school etc in the pasty 5years. I decided to be a stay home mom since 6 years ago. I m afraid it will be a challenge for me. Anyone in the same position as me? Thank you

Hello I submitted the forms to adjust status for my wife s green card application. I submitted the notification of acceptance Form by text or email. USCIS charged my credit card but I haven t gotten a text. Would they charge me if something was wrong with what I sent or would they not accept the payment at all ?? It s been a little over a week since it was processed with credit card charge and I still haven t gotten a text or email. It seems that everyone else has been getting a text notification a few days after they were charged. Anyone else have this same issue ??

I'm hoping to close the distance between my long distance partner and I sometime in the next year or so. the k1 visa seems to be the best option for us to start our life together, but I have concerns about how to prove my income. I've recently turned 21 but my health has kept me from being able to work. at this moment in time I'm looking to start a job for the first time.. my worry is that once I start a job I won't be able to prove my income adequately since I've never worked before this year and I've never filed taxes before.. if I make the required amount will I still be rejected for those reasons? I'm thinking of asking my parents if one of them would be willing to cosponsor. I want to handle the costs on my own, but maybe having one of them as a cosponsor will make being accepted more likely? any advice would be greatly appreciated, I just want to be with the person I love as soon as I can be
