URGENT: N-400 Online Submission Problem / Question

Hello All,

I'm filing N-400 based on 3 year marriage. My 90 days window opened yesterday. I'm filing my application online, have had a N-400 draft started about 3 weeks ago, and have been going through it making sure everything is in place and no question is skipped.

Today (Sunday 9/27/2020) I was trying to submit my application. I started working around 3pm. My thinking was to go through each page again before I submit the application but everytime I click "NEXT" to go to the next page, the website would give me an error message. I'd have to refresh the page again and again.

By 6pm I finally made it to the "Evidence" section, by this time I was not in a good mood. I tried to upload my documents, each of my PDF is ranging from 150 Kb to 2 MB. Everytime I upload the a document it will give me the "Uploaded" status in the box, but as soon as I click "next" the website will give me a notice that "an unexpected error has occurred and they cannot retrieve my evidence draft". I tried it again and again still no success, I took 2 hours break, and started again at around 9pm. When I click on the "Evidence" tab, I can see my files but when I'm on the "Review" tab nothing but the dash ( - ) signs are listed under the Required and Additional Documents. I got so frustrated, I went back to the "Evidence" section and of course, all my files are gone. I thought it was my Chrome browser, but the same thing happened when I use Safari.

When I review the draft, all of my answers were recorded and I did not get any "Red" or "Orange" alert, mine was green check mark stating that everything was correct in my form.

Has anyone has this problem before? Any advise? Thoughts?

My local Pasadena Water and Power's website does not work on Sunday (i.e. you can't process payment on Sunday), would it be the same case as the USCIS' website?

I'm giving up for the night, will try again tomorrow. But what if the problem persists? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I only have Mac at home. I could go to FedEx to use their PC but that involves me touching computers that's been touched with God knows how many people, and I have to be out in a public space. At normal time I'd do that easily, these days just the thought of it makes my stomach churn.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

Question about Filing N-400 Online

Hello Everyone,

My 90 days window to file N400 will open at the end of September 2020. At the moment I have an I-751 pending (filed September 2019, WAC case number). I will be applying for citizenship based on marriage and planned to submit the application online via https://my.uscis.gov/. I have several questions and I hope someone can enlighten me or direct me to the right post.

1. Re: Evidence; 3 years tax return. My husband (US Citizen) retired in 2012, left the US and travelled internationally beginning 2013. While he was traveling abroad he made ZERO income. He simply live from his savings and travelled. Advised by his tax lawyer he did not file tax from 2013 - 2017. We moved to the US, got married, and begin my AOS in 2017. In December 2017, I got my 2-year Conditional Green Card and as of March 2018 I began my employment in the US. We filed tax jointly for the 2018 and 2019 Fiscal Year. So when I have to submit the last 3 years of tax return documents, I only have our 2018 and 2019. Would this be an issue? During AOS process (i-485) we submitted a letter explaining our situation and we had no issue with my application. What are your thoughts?

2. Would applying for N-400 when my I-751 still pending create complications? These days I feel somewhat uneasy, with the coming election, pandemic, and whatnot. Anyone in the same boat in 2020? Please advise.

3. Am I correct to think that the REQUIRED evidence for N400 are only: Tax return (3 years), Certificate of Marriage, and Green Card (front and Back). Everything else would be considered supplementary and may be submitted with my application or bring during interview. Please advise.

4. What supplementary evidence would rank higher? Please advise.

I hope someone can help. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Take care, everyone. Stay safe, healthy, and God bless the USA!

Hallo,

I wanna ask about question, so I'm the beneficiary. I forgot to list my Internship in the employment history (form I-129F). Well, it was on 2017 and only for 2 months. It was paid internship but I only got like 18$-20$ per month (well that was freaking low) and this Internship was one of the requirement to take the thesis when I was in college.

The question is, is that gonna be problem as I forgot to listed it on the form? sorry I'm just always over thinking on the small things.

Hope I'm gonna get the answers soon.

Thanks ^^

Anyone knows if the US Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia is open for interviews for K 1 Visas or still closed? I have visited the Embassy online page but it is hard to determine if they are open or not and if they are open for what purposes.

Hi Everyone!

We received our NOA1 for the I-751 and the case # starts with MSC which is indicating that it was sent to the National Service Center in Missouri. I see no information on processing times for this service center nor do I see that I-751 applications normally being sent here. Any thoughts?

Thanks!
