I was issued a 221(g) after my interview, and I submitted the requested documents. In late November, I was asked to complete a medical exam and submit my passport because the medical exam I had done earlier had expired. On December 17 (about two weeks later), my case status changed from Refused to Ready. Since then, the last updated date keeps changing, but the status still shows Ready. Has anyone had a similar experience? What was the outcome?

So I and my spouse are eligible to file citizenship this year in June, 2026. There is some history related to my wife's immigration status. In 2013 2014, my spouse's prior employer withdrew her H-1B petition without notifying us. She continued working until she later learned of the withdrawal after 9 months. We promptly investigated the matter through FOIA, departed the United States 13-14 months later, and subsequently returned in H-4 status. Few months later, she got her H1 from new employer and this history was fully disclosed in all her subsequent H1B visa applications and got successful visa stampings multiple times and during my green card process, which was approved in 2021. Any risk in citizenship application for my spouse especially now when the sentiment is against immigration and every application is being thoroughly investigated?

My spouse and I attend AOS interview on Dec 13th and officer gave RFE for expired I-693. My spouse did mention that I-693 is still valid based on the uscis guidelines but on interview date they gave us RFE. On the next day Dec 14th they canceled the RFE and no update after that. we are wondering what is happening with our case and any other experienced similar situation from cancelation of RFE onwards. When do we need to reach out to USCIS for case update? Much appreciate any inputs.

We finally received word that our case has reached the NVC. Do they contact my fianc by mail or email? We didn t put his email in our I-129F petition, and he has had to move apartments since then. Should I submit another NVC inquiry with his new mailing address? Thanks in advance!
