Hello all,

I am in tricky situation and need some advise. I work in multi-national IT company here in Dallas, TX. I am here in L1B visa (came in Nov 2016) and continuously here since then. My visa expires on Aug 31, 2021. My wife too works under her L2 EAD visa with different employer. If I get an H1B (from my current company or new sponsorship company) + if that H1B gets approved (luckily), what will happen after Aug 31st 2021 as H1B work start date is usually Oct 1st only. Do I have to leave the country for 1 month gap (Sept 1st to Sept 30th, 2021)? What are my options?

Current L1B visa expires on Aug 31, 2021
I have valid B1 visa from same employer valid till 2025 but my wife and kids do not have B1 or B2

2nd question: Is it true that this new H1B will be given with only 1 year validity and not beyond as am in the US for 5 years continuously in L1B visa.

Can someone advise?

Rescheduling Parent's Green card interview

Hello,

My parents are sent a green card interview notice for early Feb ; however they are currently out of usa on advance parole due to a family emergency taking care of an ill sibling.

Is there a way to reschedule their interview to say May? What kind of communication/supporting evidence need to be provided to the uscis to get the interview rescheduled?

Filed N400 on Oct 1st in Chicago, received biometric reuse on 30th Dec 2020, when do I expect interview date, any idea folks as I want to plan for a out of country trip?

I'm a USC filing for my parents (AOS). Has anyone here used the I-864EZ form for filing (versus the full 864) - any advice/recommendations?

My income is adequate to meet the FHP threshold.

Hello My fiance received 221g in Mumbai today for the K1 visa...

My case- it will be second marraiage for both... all questions were answered well but we only had 7-8 pages of chat records and the officer wanted to see more chat records..

I hope after submitting the proof of relationship ( chat records, photos, boarding passes, financial support to her, circumstances of meeting , wedding plan etc.) the case will progress again.

My question-

1. Does the applicant herself have to drop off the additional documents or can anyone else drop it off on behalf of her..

2. Is it any faster if I drop off the documents at the Mumbai location than any other location within India?
