I'm doing to my paperwork to get a conditional green card after marrying my husband (a US citizen). I'm currently on a F-1 visa (that has expired, but my I-20 is still valid for 2 more years). I work on campus and plan to do so for the next two years at least. Do I need to file I-765 along with I-130, I-485, I-131, I-864? Also, my husband didn't file his taxes three years ago (he was a student, he didn't know any better), so he can only provide tax documents only for the last two years. Will that be a problem in our application? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone. Our cr1 petition got approved on 28th of August 2021 and we have already submitted our documents in nvc and waiting to get DQ. However we are really facing financial hardship because my husband ( Petioner) has lot of students loan to pay and I've (beneficiary) recently lost my job due to covid. My husband is working as a part time job for time being which is not enough to pay his loan amount. I was wondering if we can expedite our case and will it effect our case in future? Please help? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated

Anyone know of any recourse if USPS returns the USCIS notice back to them in spite of having the correct address. Pretty sure USCIS messed up the address while printing the label. It's happened in the past when they had incomplete address printed on the RFE notice. Any attempt to have USCIS correct this results into another prolonged and painful wait - "....USCIS will respond within 30 days" ! Any way to make this quicker. Pretty sure we lost the biometrics notice and missed the appointment since the online system never alerted on any notice being sent. Appreciate any suggestions.

Everyone, A comment on VJ Facebook post prompted this thought a couple of hours ago. I work in IT industry, we filed our petition in Dec'20 and in March 2021 I spoke to HR about the situation. To our delight, I was approved 8-10 months of sabbatical to finish the process and join them in the US, once I have my EAD. I will start the sabbatical if/when the visa is approved/issued. We were going to be honest about this if the question were to come up, but a couple of posts in FB stating any question related to "job" in K1 interview can be very tricky, had me confused. The confusion is now changing into fear when I think about the two points below - 1. I won the H1B Lottery last year, one month before President Trump announced the ban on the new H1B visas. 2. My Fianc also works in IT industry, in fact he was the Manager(on the client end, not direct report) for the team I was leading here between 2016-2020. This is how we met in the first place. Will telling the truth here work against our favor? Would all these factors combined somehow make it seem like we are doing this just for the "Job". Am I overthinking this? I have a feeling that I may be, but we already a red flag of "large Age gap", so anything new that comes up that may add to it, just makes me lose my sleep. I now have grey hairs, thanks to this draining process. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, My parents live in India, they have a 10 year visitor visa and they frequently visit. I am now planning to bring them here permanently so prepping to file I130. My questions 1. If I file I130 can they travel to US on their visitor visa while I130 is pending? 2. If I file I130 and it gets approved, it may be many months before their interview actually happens, can they travel to US on visitor visa between their I130 being approved and IR5 interview ? 3. Can I file I130 while they are here on visitor visa, but not file I485 AOS ? That way their IR5 process can start, and when they go back within a few months they are closer to their IR5 interview at a consulate in India 4. If I485 AOS is recommended while they are here, how long is the time line for I485 with advance parole and work authorization ? They need to be back in India at the end of Q2 2022.
