Our in-laws completed their biometrics appointment back in October for I-539 extension, but their latest online case status shows as "Biometrics Appointment Was Scheduled" even after more than three months. They are scheduled to leave back soon. Is that the status that it normally shows while it's waiting to be advanced to the next step or should it have quickly showed something like "completed biometrics"? I'm curious if others are also seeing that same status even after completing biometrics for some months.

My husband is a US citizen and my sponsor. When we completed all the paperwork for my green card he had a good job, but recently we received a letter saying that we need to resubmit some paperwork regarding the I-864. However, he lost his job and now when we refill I-864 our income won't come above minimum poverty level. I have been waiting to fill out the paperwork until after he finds a new job, but it looks like he won't find until after the deadline has passed for resubmission. So, should I even bother submitting the paperwork right now or just rescind my application?

My husband arrived on a K1 visa in August 2021, we married that month, and applied for his green card, EAD, and AP document in October. My husband just got news today that his father had a heart attack and is in critical condition. Depending on what happens with his dad's medical condition in the next few days, my husband may need to go back to India quickly.

I have a couple of questions. If a person gets an already filed AP application expedited, how long does it tend to take for the AP to be issued? Does an emergency AP, if approved, usually get issued faster than an expedited one? I'm just wondering if it makes sense to try to get my husband's currently pending AP application expedited, or if it's advisable in this situation just to try to file for an emergency AP.

For what it's worth, I made a contact at my congressmember's office when we were having trouble with SSA a few months ago. If expedited requests happen any faster with help from a congressmember's office, I could also try to make use of that contact.

I am the US citizen petitioner. My fiance and her daughter ( K1 and K2) entered usa in June 21 and we got married in July 2021 in USA. I filed for AOS for both of them and done with their biometrics.

I got a RFE ( attached) for the daughter's AOS case- asking us to submit the marriage certificate.

I had already sent the marriage certificate issued in the USA. I plan to send it again. Are there any other suggestions on what else i should send?

I am DQ'd for about 7 months now. I was poking around and looking for the DS 260 confirmation page, and I think I accidentally hit "Save" in the DS-260 online form. Is it possible that doing this brought me out of DQ and back into review?

The CEAC homepage shows IV Fee "Paid", IV Application "Completed" and Civil Documents "Accepted" so all looks good there.
