Hello fellow ROC Filers, I have filed my case in October 2019 and it is still at 'Case has been received'. We are filing from oversease as we are stationed in germany with the military but I'm wondering if that is normal that my case is not moving at all.... I tried to call them but I can't get passed the operator LOL. Should I be worried?

My lawyer filed I-130 for my son in Dec 2020 and we still haven t heard back from uscis. I m angry she didn t file online to save time. Should I file a new I-130 online or tell my husband to file one online to speed things up? We re aware of having to pay fees again but we want to save time and our lawyer said paper based takes 2-3 months for uscis to respond and acknowledge receipt. She said paper based I-130s in Nov 2020 from her other clients haven t had responses yet. My cousin though submitted I-130 in Nov online and already heard back 2 weeks later. What should we do?

Well, sort of: In the last year we've moved to a new location and mainly because I never write checks these days, I forgot to order new checks with my new address. I know my old checks can still be used generally speaking but do you think there is any reason why USCIS might object to the old address? Would it be better to go with a money order? I use USAA so there are no physical locations for me to go get a cashier's check... I'm sure there's no 'right' answer, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts.

I am sponsoring my husband who is a German. We have already done the I-130 and been approved. We submitted the I-865 and I-865a but they have not been approved yet because I am missing my 2019 tax transcripts. I filed my 2019 taxes late and since COVID the IRS is backed up by six months on processing taxes so my transcripts are not available yet. However I have been unemployed since 2018. my husband is paying for everything and his income is well above the poverty guidelines. Is there anyway to get approval for the I-865 without my 2019 tax transcripts?
