Hey all, Hubby and I preparing documents for filling tax return for 2020 and we didnt get any clear answer regarding my earnings before I got my visa. If anyone can help I would be so grateful. I came in USA in September 2020 and since then I didnt had any overseas earning, but I was working till my last day in Europe. Should I or should I not report my earnings before I become LPR??

So my AOS interview is coming up and my husband is deployed. I have his deployment letter and should be good to go to do it alone. Do I need to call USCIS and inform them about that before so that nobody is surprised? Anybody done it alone and has some insight what you did?

Hi Forum, Does the N400 require to enter every trip across the boarder? I am an airline Pilot and had many flights to Canada, some back within hours, some with up to 30 hours between arrival and departure. I understand it as any trip more than 24h away. I hope i can save some work on this - otherwise it'll be a bunch of entries :)

So I still have one bank account back in Germany. At no time of the year it has even more than $1000 in it so I don't have to file FBAR right? Only if there would be more than $10000 in it at any point of the year or do I read the instructions wrong?

Hey there, anyone else file their I-130 IR1/CR1 in Frankfurt as a DCF (exceptional circumstances)? It's really difficult to find timelines of others who are in a similar position. We're hoping to receive the visa within 3-4 months. Any advice from those who are further along in their journey? For others who are looking to request an exception to file directly in Frankfurt: The e-mail addresses listed on the USCIS and Consulate websites are NOT correct. You'll want to contact frnuscisinquiries@state.gov with proof of the exceptional circumstance. A reply will take about 2 weeks. Cheers!
