There it is. I know in the instructions for some of the forms it says that I do not need to provide multiple copies of the same documents (Tax returns, birth certificates, etc.), but since I don't know exactly how the package might be split up I erred on the side of caution and will be submitting copies for each form. Bad idea?

Please let me know if there is anything else you can think of, that I should be submitting!

Thank you all!

Hello guys,

so I have another question in regards to the affidavit of support.

On the U.S department of state website is says you must bring all of your original documents to your interview at the embassy .

Do they also mean the original affidavit of support (signed by the sponsor/joint sponsors) and their original documents like original tax returns etc.??

Also, my husband is going to have 2 joint sponsors helping us out since he does not meet the minimum income requirements.

however I have some money saved up here in Germany on a savings account. Can this money help us meet the requirements as well and if so, on which form could I include my savings ?

Hey guys,

I m trying to fill out form DS-260.

My daughter and I currently live in Germany. My husband who is also my daughters father lives in the states. My daughter does have a U.S passport. On the form there is a line with the question: is this child immigrating to the United States with you? And I am unsure wether to put yes or no. Technically she is immigrating with me but then again she s not really immigrating since she is a U.S citizen (?)

I appreciate any help.

Hi All,

Currently at NVC stage filing AOS for my wife. I left my 9-5 job in November of 2020, took a break and started trading stocks of January 2021. I've made ~$30,000 but don't have a full year of doing it to give a total income for 2021. We currently have over $100,000 in cash. In 2020 I made above poverty but I am now technically unemployed. I'm just wondering what to do, if I should even file an I-864... My parents with an income of >$300,000 have agreed to be sponsors. Can I still file an I-864? Looking for some guidance,

thank you!
