We haven t received anything from the London Embassy and our case has been ready since June 24th. From what I ve heard it s ok to start filling out the ds-160 so we did that today, but it s asking me to certify that I ve received an IMBRA pamphlet which I have not gotten. Am I supposed to wait for this? I know we can t book the interview yet without instructions from the embassy which we haven t received, we just wanted to go ahead and get this form out the way

Hello, im getting very mixed information about this online. Do I have to wait for an instruction packet from the London Embassy before booking medical, interview, and filling out the ds-160? Our case has been ready since the 24th of June but I m not even sure what to do because some people say it s fine to book but then I read others say don t. I m starting to get a bit stressed since our NOA2 expires in early September. Thank you

If this is the wrong section of the forms please move. Quick question for anyone who has already passed this milestone. My Mister reached retirement age and filed for us UK State Pension and received his first monthly pay this week. I'm trying to research to see if we should be setting aside $$ for year end US tax purposes, OR, will this not be taxed? I was hoping to see how this is working for others before paying a CPA to answer me.

Good afternoon, I wanted to give you a quick update. This morning, I attended my medical examination where they conducted a chest X-ray and checked my vision, ears, mouth, chest, skin, lungs, heart, and blood pressure. They also took a blood test and reviewed my vaccination records. At the time, I went completely blank and didn t ask the questions I now have. When the nurse reviewed my vaccination records, she mentioned that I needed a booster for Td/IPV (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Polio) since my last one was over 10 years ago. I have since received the booster elsewhere and sent them the certification. Now, I'm waiting for the nurse to confirm that everything is in order. However, she also stated that I need a Covid-19 booster. I currently have had two doses and one booster, but since the booster was over 12 months ago, I require another. I m reluctant to get the Covid-19 booster. What would happen if I decide not to get it, considering I am already fully vaccinated with one booster? If it is absolutely essential, will I need to get it done before my interview on the 18th of July? If I choose not to get the Covid-19 booster, will they refuse to send my medical results to the embassy? Currently, in the UK, Covid-19 vaccinations are only issued to those aged 75+ or to individuals with compromised immune systems. If I were to go private, it would cost me over 100 for a booster, whereas a few months ago, it was free. Any thoughts? Kind regards, Jon

Questions about i-134 and joint sponsor |

I could really use some advice because I've been getting a lot of mixed information. I, the petitioner, am a full-time college student who has never had a job so I've never had to file taxes. My grandmother, who I live with, will be a joint sponsor. Recently, we just received our NOA2 and our case is at NVC. 1. I am currently filling out i-134, I have put my income at $0 on number 14 on page 6 where it asks. on page 7 it asks for my assets, which I am providing my savings account and it asks for proof of these assets. is a monthly statement enough proof of this? 2. on pages 3 and 4 where it asks about my beneficiary's financial information and assets, do I leave that area with N/A since me and my joint sponsor will be responsible for him even though he has an income? 3. what financial form does my joint sponsor that I live with fill out? does my joint sponsor fill out another i-134, or form i-864a? whenever I ask this question, I get told one or the other which has really puzzled me on which one she is supposed to fill out. 4. since I have never filed taxes before, I've heard that I have to write a small letter clarifying that I'm a student so I've never had to file before. Is this correct, and is this all I need to provide on my part besides the monthly statement of my savings account? 5. on page 8 of i-134 form, it states "I intend to make specific contributions to the support of the beneficiary named in Part 2. Explain the contribution. For example, if you intend to furnish room and board, state for how long. If you intend to provide money, state the amount in U.S. dollars and whether it is to be given in a lump sum, weekly, or monthly, and for how long. If you need additional space, use Part 8. Additional Information." because I do not have an income and my grandmother will be finically responsible for my fianc , I could use some advice on how to word things for this area. I of course know I am financially responsible for my fianc as well because I'm the petitioner, do I just say that we will be living in my grandmother's home where we will both provide for him? Or do I change it to I do not intend to make specific contributions? I'm just confused on the question in general because of my situation and any advice would help. Thank you so much and any help would be appreciated in this overwhelming process.
