US Immigration from Egypt

Hi every one,

I like what I have read, a lot of good information out there. So to the point I am a US citizen and I'm heading back to Egypt soon to hopefully marry my soon to be wife. I was not able to see a counselor last time due to not being able to make an appointment, which by the way is a nightmare. This time I have an appointment. The reason if for I can get my Free To marry Certificate for the US embassy. I have been married before and I have brough my divorce papers and my certificate of Islam. Is there any reason or has any one ever had a issue getting this Free to marry cert? If you have gotten it or had issue you please let me know. Me and the Fianc are all in knots over this because this is now me 2nd time out there and we don't want to be disappointed.

I want to say my problem,,,

My problem is me and my husband (US CITIZEN) went to American embassy in Cairo in March for crba appointment for our daughter she was 5 months old and everything was okay ,and the agent says congratulations she is us citizen now,,and 3 weeks we will get her passport and another 3 weeks her birth certificate ,,,the problem it's been long time almost 6 months and we didn't get anything, and every time we send emails they saying the same answer ( the application is still in process)

Please help is their anything we can ???

Long story short, my husband wants to go home to his country for a bit but we don't have his AP or Green card yet. I know that if he leaves without receiving either, we are abandoning the AOS application altogether. If in the future he wants to come again, does that mean we have to fill out the I-130 form and start all over? The weird thing would be that we have a marriage license from the US. Not sure if that would make a difference or not. Thank you.

Doe anyone know if Egypt does DCF any longer? I am a US citizen and married to an Egyptian. We married in Egypt and I've been living here for almost one year. I want my husband to be able to travel to the US with me. Ideally we'd like to have the ability to travel back and forth from Egypt to the US. I was reading up on the process and came across DCF which seems to take less time, however I am not sure if this is an option in Egypt?

When I became a member on VisaJourney we weren't married, so now I'm looking at a different visa process than before (K1 Visa). I'd love to hear anyone's feedback, thoughts or suggestions.

Does anyone have any updates for interviews scheduled for Cairo? Can hardly find anyone from Egypt to put together a timeline or difficulty on being approved.
