US Immigration from Egypt

Hello! My fianc and I are waiting for our K1 NOA2. Unfortunately, it's been 16 months now and we haven't gotten out approval yet. We are April 2021 filers. It seems like USCIS has forgotten our case and few of the remaining untouched April 2021 cases, as USCIS has not been processing new April 2021 cases. They significantly slowed down and moved on to May and June 2021.

I would like to ask for your advice, if it is wise for us to shift to spousal visa instead. Yes, we understand that we will be waiting for the K1 visa, but to wait for 16 months without being certain when USCIS will look back at our cases made us think maybe we should get married instead.

How is the CR1 processing going currently? Is it still significantly longer than the K1?

I appreciate your input.

PS - How is CVC looking? Are they much much slower than the other visa centers? I'm afraid that if we apply for the cr1, we will have the same experience as our K1. And I know it's a gamble.

PPS - Is there anybody applying with their spouse in Egypt? How is the wait for an interview there?

Why PD was stagnant through out last fiscal year?

What is the expected movement in 2023 fiscal year that will start next month?

We have filed application for my family since August 2020 on NVC electronic site.

in April 2020 all documents were approved and we are documented qualified but unfortunately priority dates are stagnant

my son will turn 21 next September 2022, though his documents were filed and approved on April 2021.

will he loose his approved documents and we need to re apply for him? What should we do if he turn 21 before reaching priority date

I like what I have read, a lot of good information out there. So to the point I am a US citizen and I'm heading back to Egypt soon to hopefully marry my soon to be wife. I was not able to see a counselor last time due to not being able to make an appointment, which by the way is a nightmare. This time I have an appointment. The reason if for I can get my Free To marry Certificate for the US embassy. I have been married before and I have brough my divorce papers and my certificate of Islam. Is there any reason or has any one ever had a issue getting this Free to marry cert? If you have gotten it or had issue you please let me know. Me and the Fianc are all in knots over this because this is now me 2nd time out there and we don't want to be disappointed.

I want to say my problem,,,

My problem is me and my husband (US CITIZEN) went to American embassy in Cairo in March for crba appointment for our daughter she was 5 months old and everything was okay ,and the agent says congratulations she is us citizen now,,and 3 weeks we will get her passport and another 3 weeks her birth certificate ,,,the problem it's been long time almost 6 months and we didn't get anything, and every time we send emails they saying the same answer ( the application is still in process)

Please help is their anything we can ???
