Brazil requires both a STATE and a FEDERAL police record. I know that it is possible to obtain a federal police record online, but the dpf.gov link that NVC provided is not a correct link. Where is the website I can go to get one?

I applied for the green card on November 2019 On Feb 2020 I received my work permit and temporary social security We had the Interview on September 2020 After that I haven't heard back from USCIS, not a single notification. I'm concerned about my process now. Any ideas?? Thank you!

I received notice last week that my wife's birth certificate had been rejected. When I go to the acceptable documents it says that they accept the "inscripcion de nacimiento" from the "Registro Civil" from Ecuador and that the "certificado de nacimiento" that we submitted was unsatisfactory. When my wife went to the Registro Civil, she was told by them that the inscripcion de nacimiento and the certificado de nacimiento were the same thing. When I looked on the Registro Civil's website it looks like an inscripcion de nacimiento is something we file with them. Do we have to file the inscripcion de nacimiento with Ecuador and then get a copy of it for the NVC? From what my wife understands from talking to the Registro Civil there is no inscripcion de nacimiento that she can get.

Hi all, I feel embarrassed asking this question since I normally try to be thorough with my own research and should have asked beforehand. We had lots of problems with delivery of IRS documents to my physical address recently, so at POE I had my wife give the CBP officer our UPS store mailbox as the address for the green card to be delivered (previously I had used that as a mailing address for other USCIS documents as well). If it matters, the address format is [Street address of the UPS Store] PMB [#]. PMB stands for personal mailbox. It is now coming up on 6 weeks or 40 days since POE and nothing has arrived. I know that this can take time but right now my concern after doing more reading is whether the green card can only be delivered to a physical address? Related to this, in myUSCIS the status says the following: Quote I-551 I-551 Permanent Resident Card Submitted on September 21, 2021Receipt # XXXXXXXX - Case status
- Case history
- Documents
August 29, 2021 Immigrant Visa Fee Payment Received On August 29, 2021, we received your USCIS Immigrant fee payment for your Permanent Resident Card related to your immigrant visa. We will be processing the request for production of your Permanent Resident Card. You should receive your Permanent Resident Card within 90 days of your entry into the United States or within 90 days after your USCIS Immigrant Fee payment is received. If you do not receive your Permanent Resident Card, contact the USCIS Contact Center at www.uscis.gov/contactcenter. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. As entry was on September 19, I am not sure what the "submitted on" date (in red above) refers to and wanted to check whether it has any relation to when the card itself is mailed. If we need to follow up with USCIS I want to be sure to know what the correct procedure would be. Thanks in advance.
