US Immigration from Denmark

Hi everyone,

My K1 visa got issued last week and my fianc and I are trying to plan the flights for when I get the visa. I'm a little bit unsure on what to plan for in terms of layovers at the US port of entry because I keep getting conflicting info regarding how long it takes going through customs on a K1 visa. Some say it can take a couple of hours and some say it doesn't take much longer than flying in on an ESTA or regular tourist visa?

Anyone got experience with this and what should I expect?

Basically title, my fianc and I are waiting for the US embassy to process my K1 visa and we're looking at flight prices.
One way tickets to the US are around $1600 were as round trip tickets are $950 or less. Is it gonna be an issue if I buy a round way trip and only use one part of it?

I don't really care if the airline sanctions me but more concerned about the customs officer seeing my round way trip and getting funny ideas.

my fianc and I just got notice our case got received by NVC (haven t shipped to the embassy yet we got the update through inquiry) but our NOA2 said it s valid until 16th of June this year. Is this something we should be worried about and can we file somewhere to get the noa2 validity extended?

Hi im having my medical exams next week, and i am taking a citalopram " Celexa" for panic attack. It was prescribed by my doctor in uk, and my doctor said i got it from stress because i used tp work in a carehome and i was assigned in a dementia unit for 4years and one night i had this palpitations and i thought i was having heart attack out of nowhere. The next day i called my doctor she said that it was from stress so she prescribed me a 10 mg celexa but i am only taking 5mg cutting it into half. Am i gonna be denied? Im worried cause me and my wife we just hd a baby. Please advice. Thank you

Hi can anyone please tell me what questions are they gonna ask at the marriage GC interview AOS on ESTA visa? My interview will be on may 1st. Im just worried they're gonna grill me even i dont have any intention when i got here. Are they still gonna ask me my intent? CBP check everything, my luggage didn't bring anything with me just clothes and after CBP officer told he has no reason to not let me in and im good to go. Just circumstances change before my flight back my wife told me she doesn't want us to be apart again encouraging not to leave. And 1 year after we have a baby now and recently her 1st born son was diagnosed with autism. Hard situation for me. Thank you good people
