US Immigration from Brazil

Hello! A friend who has yet to join VJ asked me to ask if any consulates around the world are currently issuing L visas. We are in Brazil and the consulate here is barely doing immigrant interviews... Thanks!

My wife and I have our interview for her green card this coming Monday. I've told her for months, even years, that they may separate and interview us separately, and compare our answers to certain questions to see if there are inconsistencies suggestive of a fraudulent marriage. My wife is well aware of this and I recently sent her a list of possible questions that we have to have matching answers to in the event we do encounter a Stokes interview.

How likely is this to happen? We do speak different primary languages and her English isn't great, but we've never received any requests for evidence during any part of the process. We also know an interpreter who will help my wife over the phone (can't be there in person due to COVID-19 restrictions).

Is it just random and it's best to be as prepared as possible?

My timeline will not permit me to update the NOA1 receipt date because it was more than 8 weeks. Is there a fix for this?

Hello community:

My guy and I filed and received NOA1 July 29, 2020, we received our approval, NOA2 March 1, 2021. The NOA2 said that the "above petition has been approved and forwarded to the listed consultate".

So, I am wondering if the NVC (National Visa Center) has been bypassed? Does anyone know anything about this? I will email the consulate, but was curious if anyone knew more clearly about this.

I've lived in TN since last July and applied for citizenship here. I have my interview this week and am wondering about the questions where they ask the names of your representatives. If I'm taking the test here but my ID is from CA, should I answer them based in the state im currently in or the state that issued my id? Anyone else had a similar experience? thanks!!
