US Immigration from Belgium

So I m filling for AoS,I m adjusting my status from ESTA. In the form I-944 they ask about taxes and yes I did pay everything. I was a holder of J1 visa ( Au Pair) from Feb 2018 to Feb 2019. I did my taxes and now question, what kind of form should I put in my packet? I was trying to obtain it online but it didn t work. The form for alien workers is way different, I have my proofs of payment and my tax returns, can I just put it in there? Also Au Pairs don t get W2. Is my payment proof and tax return enough?

I ve been watching the forum and topics as a quiet reader, now I need a help so I decided to join and ask. Me and my fianc sent our k1 petition last December (2019), got approved by USCIS in May, and our case shows ready for an interview at the embassy in Brussels, Belgium. Anyways, as lots of you know, Belgium is travel banned country, they re not processing visas and we don t know when that will finally happen. I m currently visiting my fianc in the US for the holidays on ESTA and we are thinking of abandoning the k1 and getting married here and adjusting my status. I ve read some topics and I saw people doing it. My question is, is that possible?
is there a huge risk?

Hi all,

I'm filling out the I-864 form for my wife here in belgium, and have a question regarding how income is determined and compared to the poverty gudelines. I make enough to sponsor my wife, and will be bringing pay stubs to back up my claim. However, I noted that the I-864 asks for my adjusted gross income, which is NOT above the poverty gudeline because I live and work in Belgium and do not earn enough to declare any taxable income in the US. Has anybody had a similar experience?

I saw an update on the state department website that states that fianc visas will begin to be processed again. I wonder if this is way in the future or soon? It s so frustrating to have received USCIS approval and then get stuck because the embassy won t do interviews or process K1 visas because they don t consider them family-based visas.

Any fellow Belgians out there, that have a recent Belgian passport also, I would like to ask a question, as the Consulate

never answers the phone nor emails.
