Embassy Review : Had my k1 visa interview today at 7:45am. I arrived at the consulate at 7:20am and had to wait till 7:30am because the security didn't have the list of visitors yet.
When they got the list we were let in in order of arrival. I had 1 person in front of me.
Got in, got to the second security post where they scan everything, i was allowed to take my phone, wallet and my documents in, the rest they put in a locker and gave a ticket to get it back when you leave.
At the first booth you get a ticket number and when it got called they asked for the documents you needed to bring. Gave my medical exam package, birth certificate, divorce certificate, police certificate and picture and my passport off course.
After this I needed to wait again for a bit till I got called again to a booth around the corner to have my interview. The lady that did the interview was really nice. The questions were : how long are you dating, where did you meet, what work does your fiancee do, and how many times did we meet and when was the last time we met. She also asked to show the letters of intent to marry. I didn't have copy's with me so she gave me the I129f package they got from nvc and asked me to show them. I looked them up and put the letters on top and gave the package back. After this she approved the application and let me know that my passport will be sent to my home address as i paid for delivery. javascript:emoticon('')javascript:emoticon('')
