Hello everyone,

I have appeared interview in January 19th in this year and consular kept my passport with civil documents and our wedding pictures and told me they will contact me very soon but it s more then 10 month still in Administration Process , case status date updated month then 10 times but still in same position. We married in 2018, visa category is IR 1, my wife contacted embassy with congress and senator and herself as well and I also send emails and calls but same answer every time . Is there anyone in this situations or what is the possible suggestions at this stage? I didn t receive any 221 g letter.

Have not received Green card after SB1 visa entry

Hello All,
I have a question about receiving green card after entry with Sb1 Visa. My father entered USA with a sb1 visa

and its been almost 5 months and he has not received his green card yet. At port of entry, my father handed the yellow

envelope package to the airport immigration officer which included his old green card.

The officer told my father a new Green card will be sent to him within 2-3 months and they kept his old green card.
Is USCIS taking too long to issue his green card? Should we wait or get in touch with USCIS?
I tried to get an appointment online with USCIS but seems they have stopped doing it for USA USCIS offices.
Can I just go to a local USCIS office without an appointment and ask them about my father's green card progress?

Any one have any experience in this area?

Hello,

I am a US citizen and my spouse's CR1 case has been docunentarally qualified at NVC on 3rd August 2021.

Does anybody know if US embassy Dhaka is holding immigrants visa interview at this moment?

The reason I wanted an insight on this is because If my wife's interview will take some time to be scheduled then I might as well go and visit her. But if there's a chance that it will be scheduled within next 4 months then I will wait.

Any information on this would be very helpful.

Hi all,

I have a pending AOS from K1 in Seattle. My Advance Parole expires in March of 2022. I will be travelling outside the USA in December.

is there any rule that I have to have 6 months left on my AP to be allowed entry into the USA? Like passports have to have at least 6 months of validity, do are Advance Parole the same? Or does it not matter?

The one I have on CEAC and I'm already DQ, the form I864 is the 2019 version.

Do I have to fill up, sign and update the latest form on CEAC before the interview?
