| Original Documents to AOS interview during covid??? |

Hello, I am having my Green card interview in 2 days and on the checklist they mailed me with my interview notice, it mentioned that you must bring ORIGINAL documents as well as copies. Being COVID, I have heard that most people are interviewing via iPad and sliding their documents somewhere to be processed 72 hours later. This concerns me because I am afraid of giving away my passports, birth certificates, SSN, marriage certificates.. etc. If anyone has gone through their virtual interview yet, did you only give photocopies or did you ever get your original copies back at a later date?

Hello, has anyone here filled out a W-8BEN form? I just need help on filling out the form. They returned it to me due to some errors. They are requiring my foreign tax number but the customer service rep from USAA that I talked to told to leave it blank. Kind of confused. Thanks in advance!

Hi All, Please feel free to redirect to previous threads if this question has been answered, but I've yet to find a straight answer! My spouse (finally!) got his interview at the US Consulate in Sydney! We're so relieved and excited after a very challenging process and want to make sure we don't trip at the finish line. My question: it very clearly says he needs to bring all original documents that we uploaded to the NVC. Does that include the things I, the petitioner, uploaded, like my actual birth certificate? I can mail it to him if need be, but I'm nervous about sending that sort of document overseas, it's the one that was issue at my birth and I'd hate for something to happen to it. For what it's worth, he's able to bring everything else that he personally uploaded because he already has it with him in Australia of course. It's my stuff in the U.S. that I'm wondering about. Thank you!

I am an Aussie, currently in the US on a B2 visa visiting my fianc . Our I-129F petition was finally approved, and I know I need to leave the US to be interviewed for my K1 visa. I have two dependent children, currently in Australia, who will need to be interviewed for their K2 visas. Is it possible for us to be interviewed in different countries (i.e. for me to be interviewed in El Salvador and for my children to be interviewed in Australia)? Reason: it is difficult to get a flight back to Australia with current COVID-19 travel caps and we want our family to be reunited ASAP.
