US Immigration from Australia

Hi, my wife s Oath ceremony was ceremony cancelled the same day she did the interview. It s been over three weeks. Her auntie, who gave the interview two days later than her. Already gave her oath ceremony. She called uscis and they said maybe due to covid, that they have limited seats. So they will put her on next batch.

However, her sister who gave interview last week, got her oath ceremony scheduled for mid September.

What can she do now, I haven t seen my wife for very long now and after she updates from green card holder to citizenship, the marriage petition will process faster.

I reecently immigrated back in July and am currently going through the process of procuring my SSN card as well as waiting on NOA's for my AOS and EAD and so on.

After going in for my interview for SSN and waiting a month for it to arrive in the mail, I was then told that the USPS attempted to send it to my address but since my last name and my wifes last name do not match, and there is currently no record of me living at the address they sent my SSN card back to the federal government and it was promptly shredded and disposed of to stop any chance of identity fraud (this was the process described to me by the local Social Security office customer service person I spoke to).

I am currently trying to add my name to the address but cannot see any way to do so as every time I get in touch with the USPS they state that I need to have a previous address for them to set up a change of address to my new home.
Is the simplest way to get my own mail approved at this address to have my wife changed her last name on her SSN as well? This is something she was already planning on doing but was going to wait a little bit, but I'm assuming that may not be the case.

Just wondering how long AOS is taking for the marriage based green card applicants where both members of the couple live together in the US. I arrived on an ESTA visa (if that changes the timeline).

We got married just over a month ago, neither of us are changing surnames as we are both female. Im waiting for my Police check to arrive in the mail from Australia. but due to covid the mail is slow af. we also havent recieved a certified copy of marriage cert yet from the local county because usps apparently lost it.

I have been in the country for 2 months.

How long do i have to file a AOS? And when/how do i go about getting a SSN?

Hey VJ family,

Received a RFE for our AOS in regards to the Affidavit of Support stating they could not determine that my wife's (sponsor) income was above the poverty guidline. Total income was well over the 125%.

They received the I-864 on the 2nd April 2021, we submitted her 2019 tax as she hadn't received her 2020 yet. She's also self employed (Lyft driver).

We were pretty sure we sent all the correct documents (transcript, bank statements, lyft $$ transfer receipts) and there didn't seem to be a need for additional asset info as her income was above 30k (just the 2 of us in household).

Is there anything we might have missed in regards to my wife's self employment or could it just be they want the 2020 tax?

Any insight or input would be greatly appreciated. Photos attached incase I'm not seeing something obvious in my anxiety
