I was scheduled for his interview on October 12, 2021, when i attended the interview they had me wait over two hours, eventually canceling my interview. The USCIS worker claimed i had two A alien numbers and in order to proceed with my application they would have to merge the two files together. I am unaware that i have two alien numbers. What happens now?

Hello all Visa Journey families,

I have a question so I have filed Petition for my father back in February 2019 and his case was approved November 2020 and It was send to Kabul Afghanistan US Embassy in March 2021 and since the shut down of US embassy in Kabul Afghanistan we have no idea where to transfer the case because Pakistan and Abu Dhabi do not process any immigrant visa case that's been transferred from outside and we don't know which other country we should use I have been talking to NVC and they are just telling me to find the neighboring country that accept case transfer. does anyone know what what should I do?

My father is stuck in Afghanistan and he is really old and has no one around him to help him could someone please give me any idea what to do in which Neighboring country accept case transfer?

Thank you in advance

My wife s interview was conducted on 14th October 2021, the medical report was missing because the case was not available for the clinic on CEAS, my wife got 221g and she was told that the embassy will issue her IV with in one week once they get the medical report. So the clinic sent them her medical report on 29 October 2021. I got two emails from the embassy on 8th November 2021, in one email they asked us to submit the medical report and create the profile for submitting/receiving documents, while I have registered her passport before the interview. In the second email the embassy asked us to collect the passport from the courier, but the American Express told us that passport hasn t been delivered and the case is still processing, then I emailed to embassy and told them that the clinic has already submitted her medical report and the passport has not been delivered yet. So then I got multiples email and asked me to submit the medical report. After back and forth communication with embassy and clinic. The embassy emailed us interview letter for 10december 2021. I emailed them and explained them that her interview was done 14th October, and her medical was submitted on 29th October. Now I got a new email from embassy and they said that applicant has been scheduled for oathing/fingerprint on 10th December 2021 and nothing else is required only picture I d is required according to them. My question is it normal and any one has the same experience or any one has any idea when they will issue visa after second fingerprint appointment, thanks.

Hello everyone

Long story short, my wife filed a petition back in May 2019 for her mother. We received an RFE, sent the requested documents and in August 2020 received a denial letter. After reading the denial letter, there was a misunderstanding on my part regarding the evidence they wanted on the original RFE, so we filed an appeal in September 2020 and included the correct documents that were requested by USCIS. Got a letter dated September 2nd, 2021 saying the case was approved and was being forwarded onto the NVC for further processing. I just checked the mail today and got another letter dated September 7th, 2021 saying that the case has been reopened due to an appeal that was filed on the case. The letter doesn't have any more details and I am very confused at this point as to what is going on. Has anyone else ever run into this? Appreciate the help!
