We sent ours on the on the 24th of July, USPS tracking said notice left on 27th of July (delivered on 30th of July!). It's been more than a month now and we have not received Filing Receipt yet.

Now I am worried that even when the document reached their office on the 27th but delivered on the 30th, does that mean we should have enclosed check with the increased fee??? We still enclosed the old fees! :help:

I'm in the same boat guys, 1-130 stuff was sent on July 27. Payment has not been cashed. I'm waiting to hear the payment was cashed or receive the package back in the mail. It's starting to get hard to wait though because I just want to know either way. I'm worried about the whole fee thing too but I read on the USCIS website that old fee applied for packages postmarked before the 30th. I guess we'll find out....

I bugged my husband until he got so exasperated with me that he had to call USCIS  . I read from some other thread that if you haven't gotten anything after 30 days, you can call them and ask. I found their customer service hotlines on the website and gave it to my husband. He called them and spoke to someone who told him that they are indeed on a massive backlog because of the fee increase and they will not be able to tell him anything unless we have not received anything from them after 90 days (3 months) from filing.

I guess it's not 30 days anymore... I guess...

I so hate waiting :(

Hey folks,

I am happy to say that I just received our NOA-1 for our I-130 filing from CSC. We sent our package to TSC on 7/27 and they received it on the 7/30.

I was a bit concerned that a whole month had passed without NOA-1. I had seen others in the past who got their NOA-1 from TSC before it was transfered to CSC. Well, mine came from CSC so those of you that sent to TSC, take heart. The notice date was 8/28 although the postmark says 8/29. Those that sent around the same time period should be getting your NOA-1 pretty soon.

Good luck,

CG

Hey there guys! Filed our I-130 and I-129F also on the last weeks of July and got positive results - we already have our NOA1 for both! (see my signature) :D The fee for our I-129F was also waived. However, like everyone else in here, it'll be a long wait for the NOA2 to arrive. Its already been a month for both forms and we do not even have a "touch" on both.

Well, good luck to all of us! God Speed! :D

2-0. In favor of the boys.

We got ours today - or, well, the lawyer got the hardcopy and sent it to us by email. The Receipt date was July 24, 2007 and the Notice Date was August 30, 2007. And it was sent directly from CSC even when we filed it in Texas.

There's still hope!!! Keep on waiting.

TSC is now forwarding all I-130 and I-129F petitions to CSC. It seems like in the past they would issue a NOA1 and then forward it, but now they wait until it's been forwarded. Even so, in our case they put the original date it was received at TSC as the "received date" even though the NOA1 was much later.

sahil, did you send your petition directly to VSC?
