NOA receipt number does not work

I received my NOA couple days ago and I have trying to check the status of my application online by enter the receipt number starting with MSC (without putting in the dashes) and I keep on getting the error message saying that the receipt number cannot be found in the system. I actually have 3 different receipt numbers (I-130, I-485, and I-765) and none of them would work and they would give me the same error message.

is there any other way to track my application online.

and has anybody had this problem like this before???

i am kinda worried.

01/03/2007: Received NOA dated December 29th

01/09/2007: Touched (I-485, I-130, I-765)

01/17/2007: Biometrics appointment

01/16/2007: Touched (I-485, I-130, I-765)

i am kinda worried.

Try calling the national office number and see if someone can check the receipt numbers for you. There might be something wrong with their system.

Sometimes it takes up to three weeks to actually find its own status online. Maybe they just haven't updated it lately. Don't rely too much on the information they give you there anyway. According to that, my AOS status is still stuck in March 2006.

Removal of Conditions Timeline:

03/19/2008 - package sent to TSC, let's hope for the best

03/20/2008 - check cashed

03/26/2008 - case sent to Vermont Service Center

04/17/2008 - Biometrics scheduled

05/19/2008 - received I551 extension stamp via INFOPASS

02/12/2009 - APPROVED

02/21/2009 - GC received...no mistakes...valid until 2019

Try not to worry too much. They have your applications and you have the notices. Hopefully you can check online soon.

It will eventually work. Takes a while for the system to catch up with the internet.
