ok,..

I sent my application to CSC on June 22 2006 from a US military base in Germany.

According to my return receipt mailing notification, USCIS received it 28 June 2006.

According to Certified trackable mail, on the USPS site, they said they never delivered it til 29 June,.2006.

I just rang the National Customer Service Number, and after explaining, The IO looked me up on the system, and said Ma'am, you were receipted into our System on July 15, which was last Saturday.

Now, Im not complaining because now I know they definately received it, But I didnt think they could gimme that sort of info, according to all other reports the I-751 is untrackable, and no information about it available.

Guess, it just goes to show, it really does depend on the IO, and how much they wanna help you.

Make me feel better just knowing ya know,......lol

Editted to add: Took me a total of 54 minutes to get through to an officer, that includes the 7 minutes of press 1, press 6, press this, press that, and other BS they felt the need to put right at the start of the call, to waste 7 minutes of out precious time and $$.....

I guess this is a stupid question but....I thought the 1800 number was free to call? You said it cost you to call? How much?

While its true that the beneficiary has no means to track the progress of an I-751 in Case Status Online, the Service does keep track of the file and receipt information.

Just me again with another little update,....

After all those dates were thrown around at the start of this thread, I finally have something to report,...

I received my "Receipt Notice " I-797c today in the mail here in Germany. was posted from laguna Niguel on 17 July.

The notice date on my paper says 06/29/06....so, there ya go...WOOOO HOOOOOO....

It says" Your alien card is extended one year employment and travel authorised.

Processing your form will require a minimum of 330 days. If you have not heard

from us within 11 months, then you may contact this office."

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,.....330days #######??...CSC says its processing receipt notices with a date of 16 January 2006, as at 19 July. Thats only like 184 days or close to it...so I hope they dont start slowing down now,....

Anyways,..Im just glad I have the one year extension letter in my hot lil hands,....
