I am the center of gravity, hold a capital situation in Vienna, and as I am foremost in every victory, am allowed by all to be invaluable. Though I am invisible, I am clearly seen in the midst of a river. I could name three who are in love with me and have three associates in vice. It is vain that you seek me for I have long been in heaven yet even now lie embalmed in the grave. What am I?

My hundreds digit is eight less than my tens digit.

What number am I?

A man and his son were in a car accident. The man dies instantly and the son is rushed to the hospital and prepped for surgery. The Doctor comes in and says "I can't operate on him, he is my son."

Doctor is the mother? :)

A man is found dead in the middle of a forest. He his wearing full scuba gear. How did he get there?

there was a forest fire and a helicopter fighting the fire picked up seawater, with the diver in it. then the helicopter dumped the water in the forest, extinguished the fire and the life of the diver.

(I cheated though, because I heard that one before...it's a tough one too!)

A man is found dead in the desert. next to him is an unopened packet. As the moment approached, He knew he was going to die. What was the cause of death?

there was a forest fire and a helicopter fighting the fire picked up seawater, with the diver in it. then the helicopter dumped the water in the forest, extinguished the fire and the life of the diver.

(I cheated though, because I heard that one before...it's a tough one too!)

A man is found dead in the desert. next to him is an unopened packet. As the moment approached, He knew he was going to die. What was the cause of death?
