Hi everyone,

My greencard was stolen last month and Manila Embassy just issued me boarding letter just to get back home here in Michigan. My question is should i do anything to have my green card replace or is it the Homeland Security from Philippines will be the one to do the rest? I appreciate all the opinion coming from you guys! Thanks and Have a nice day!

I already did, paid everything in Manila Embassy and filled out I-90 form then issued me boarding letter, do you have any idea how long it will take to have my replaced greencard? Is there a way that i could fly out of the country while waiting on my greencard? Thanks, have a good one!

If the US embassy in Manila issued you a boarding letter - I presume this is to allow you travel back to the USA and get through immigration here? I'd call the embassy to get an answer on your questions.

You New greencard can take up to 6 months to be replaced they will ask you to do fresh biometrics.... if you need to leave the US before the card is issued you will need to make an infopass appointment at your local office and ask for I-551 stamp in your passport that will allow for work and travel and act as a temp greencard until your new one arrives.....
