Yes they do.... depends on the DVD player. Mags plays her UK DVDs on our DVD player all the time.

You do need to have a TV that can play PAL and your DVD player will need to be "tweaked". If you want to watch a US DVD on a UK TV or DVD player you will need a TV that can play NTSC (most recent models tend to) and a multi region DVD player. If the TV isn't NTSC compatible then the picture will look rather pink and green coloured.

Eh, D's the techno-guy but he orders DVDs from America to play in the UK all the time.

But I bought it for him basically for his collection here...it's one of his fave movies, so I fig'd that's one less DVD he has to pack...it's not like I'm gonna ship it there for him to ship it back here So it'll work in my player just fine!
