Thanks to the discussions here, I've got my G325A all filled out.

I use a Mac and used Adobe Acrobat Reader V.8 to fill out the form.

The problem is there are several lines where the information I've input (addresses are long in China!) does not completely fit in the space provided. I can keep typing, and if I look the information is there. But, once I move to another field, the information is trucated, but there is a little black box with a white plus mark in it.

I thought that perhaps when I printed the form, it would do something like make the field bigger, or print smaller so it would all show, but it does not.

Is there something I need to do get all the information to print, or do I need to go back and edit the document and use abbreviations so that everything fills in the space provided.

thanks in advance

Michael

We had same problem you are having, fitting in all the typed answers in the boxes, so we just typed in what would fit in other boxes, then printed the form out, then wrote in the boxes with hand print to fit the box, it went through fine and no problems. No sure what else you can do to make it work, good luck.

Try the versions provided by VisaPro, they have larger fields, we ended up using some Visa Pro forms to deal with similar problem.

Google search PDF editors. You can change the size fonts to better fit the long addresses in space provided.

My fiance's address is long as well, and too-long for several of the questions even if we hand-wrote it. I created attachment sheets wherever necessary and included all of the relevant information from the question on the form. I wrote "See Attachment" in the box provided on the form and created an attachment sheet with My name (or his name for his G-325A) at the top, the Form and Question number I was answering and then the address. Make sure to sign and date and attachment sheets your provide.

Example:

[Your Name]

Form I-129F, Part B, Question 2: Address of alien fiance

Number and Street: XXX

Apt. #: X

Town or City: XXX

State or Country: XXX

Zip/Postal Code: XXX

[signature / Date]

Just another suggestion. I'm sending my petition out in a few days, but I asked a similar question on the forum and this is what others suggested.

Good luck :)

It would appear there is not any software I can find for the Mac that will allow me to change the font size on the PDF.

So, I am taking the advice here of adding an attachment with the relevant information.

Thanks everyone for the quick responses and suggestions! Hopefully, as I get some experience with the process, I too will be able to help others.

Yes, attachment is fine and straightforward solution. Just remember there are 4 pages (virtual copies of each other, but the footers ARE different, so, you will want to print them all out - not make 4 copies of first page). Make sure you include a copy of your attachment for EACH of the four 325 pages. - SO , TOTAL OF 4 COPIES of the attachment.

Samby
