MISTAKEN FEES

Hey Guys,

May be someone could tell me whats up with my case now.I don't know what to expect anymore...

Here is what happened: My I-129f was sent FEB.22nd, BUT made a mistake...i did not know that the fee was now- $170-, because on the Form i printed out ,said we were suppose to send $165.

Then,on march 17th i got a letter saying "Notice of Action" in it, but talking about the wrong fee.So at the same day i re-sent the documents with the right amount of money. Five days later, the money was cashed out of my bank account,and so far nothing else happened. No other documents were sent to me. So, my question is: Was that my NOA-1???What am i waiting for now???

I apprecciate if anyone could tell me anything at all about this!!

If the money was cashed and you received the NOA1 i think everything is ok. You have to wait for the second NOA. Correct me if i'm wrong, i'm new on this, but for what i'ev read so far i understand this way.

We got our petition sent back for a missing signature, after we sent it back the NOA1 was sent.

the form you'll get is one page long, an i 797c, notice of action. took me about 5 days after such was received, and about 3 days after the check was cashed, to get here.

The check was cashed over two and a half weeks ago at least and I still have not gotten anything in the mail. The notice of action that I got saying I paid the wrong fee had a case number on it, but at the time I was in such a hurry to get to work that I didn't think to write it down when I was at the post office. Is there a way to find out what your case number is?

look on the back of the check for your case number. Then you can go to the uscis website to make sure eevrything is okay
