I-751 Attempted Delivery at TSC

Hi All:

I sent my wife's I-751 via Priority Mail, Certified with Return Receipt on Monday, Nov 5.

This morning I was able to track via USPS web site that our parcel was received at the Mesquite Post Office at 1152AM.

Then, this evening, there is a USPS web site tracking notice that reads, "We attempted to deliver your item at 209PM on November 7, 2007 in Mesquite, Texas 75185 and a notice was left. It can be redelivered or picked-up at the Post Office. If the item is unclaimed, it will be returned to the sender!"

YIKES!!!!!

Anyone ever hear of or have the experience where USCIS didn't pick-up or retrieve from the Post Office and the package was returned?

Am I overly panicing???? YOU BET YA'!!!!!

Yes, has happened numerous times before - if you check the forum then you will find other panic posts like yours.

The message simply means that the USCIS has already picked up all mail for today when your package arrived. It will be picked up from the post office tomorrow.

Mar 13, 2007: checks cleared bank

Mar 24, 2007: biometrics receipt dated Mar 09

Mar 28, 2007: NOA1 dated Mar 09

Mar 28, 2007: biometrics letter dated Mar 22

Apr 06, 2007: biometrics appointment

(Oct 09, 2007: called USCIS: service request sent to TSC)

Jan 31, 2008: case transferred to VSC (last touch date changed from 04/07/07 to 02/01/08)

Feb 01, 2008: touch

Feb 04, 2008: touch

(Feb 05, 2008: infopass appointment)

Feb 07, 2008: transfer notice dated Feb 01, 08

Feb 13, 2008: touch (Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.)

Feb 25, 2008: touch

Apr 11, 2008: approval email! (only took 1 year, 34 days!)

Apr 13, 2008: 2 more approval emails

Apr 16, 2008: email notice: "Approval notice sent"

This is a common post on VJ, it means the mail arrived at the PO Box AFTER USCIS picked up the mail for the day. Check again in a few days and it WILL be received.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

No panic, TSC will get it

I CHECKED THE USPS TRACK & CONFIRM EARLY THIS AM (NOVEMBER 8) AND THE MESSAGE HAD BEEN CHANGED AS FOLLOWS:

Know this is late but yes, this is a common occurrence for packages sent to the TSC mailbox. They pick up really early during the day (the confirmation receipt I got showed timestamp of 5:30a.m.), so if your package arrives after that pick-up time, then you'll have to wait for the following day's pick-up.

08/17/08: Mailed N400 to TSC

08/19/08: USPS attempted delivery

08/20/08: TSC received N400

08/21/08: TSC cashed check

09/02/08: Received NOA...........Priority date: 08/20/08

..............................................Notice date : 08/22/08

09/02/08: Received Biometrics Notification

09/18/08: Biometrics completed - Charlotte DO

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!
