Personal check

Hello,

I just realized i didn't bother to see what kind of check USCIS accepts when I send in my I-129f petition package. Do they accept PERSONAL checks from my bank, because that's what I used, a personal check.

I really freakin hope they accept personal checks. If not, anyone have any ideas on whaty I should do?

yes they do accept personal checks it's no problem at all.

Actually a personal check is the best option from your standpoint. Then you can easily track it with your bank to find out when it's been deposited.

Not only is it easiest to find out when it's been deposited but the NOA-1 receipt number is stamped on the back of the check too. Of course, mine was so illegible that Natasha and I made a game of seeing who could guess the correct number before I received the NOA1 document in the mail. I was way off, but Natasha got it perfectly!
