I just spoke to someone from NVC and he informed me that even though the bill was GENERATED on April 3rd it may not have been mailed yet because they "try to avoid going to the post office everyday and instead wait until they accumulate several hundred packets and send them all in a batch"; he said normally it will take between 2-4 or 6 weeks before I receive it after its generated. :o So I guess all I can do is wait and be patient. Hope this helps anyone of you who are still waiting on the IV bill.

I guess we pay them to do what is convenient for THEM and we just have to suffer the pain of waiting.

But I think they only generated mine after they got the DS3032.

Good luck!

True

geez.. why not just go to the post office ONCE a WEEK? You don't have to go every single day... but come on... up to 6 weeks ?

Exactly my point! What are they getting paid for? It shouldn't be that hard to have someone go to the post office ONCE a week!!! Or when the Post man comes to deliver packages just give the generated packages to him!!! Come on!!!

Whatever----this is just teaching me how to be patient-so I'll stop complaining.

"Iceyspots'-thanks for responding though :D

It's Ok---that Timeline is incorrect. I put in 3/24 and it came up with April 10th; I tried correcting it numerous times, but there seems to be a glitch or something. I wish I could delete the entire timeline as its a not truly reflective; but it doesn't let me.

I figured out the glitch: The "timeline" inverts the dates; so when I edit it I actually have to put the date relating to the Affidavit and put the Affidavit date relating to the DS-3032(it's really hard to explain) I basically had to "trick" the timeline so that it shows the correct information. So now-everything is accurate. Thanks for remindind me :D:thumbs:

in the mean time you could have your SO do the DS 230

they could mail it to you. - since the immigrant must sign it.

there is an NVC flow chart. take a look at it if you have not.

Thank you shonjaved,

Actuallly my husband already sent the DS230 and a copy of his passport to me. :D Thank you.

I'm fully acquainted with the Flowchart....thank you :D

I just wish the Bill could come soon...because there is no "shortcut" for that part. :(

Thanks for your input though. I appreciate it.

Thank you it is good to know.

Our IV Bill was generated on April 17.

So, we might be waiting until they gather enough packages to send out.

It's crazy

Maybe not: I was looking at the calendar and just for argument sake: Being that they generate documents only on Mondays and mine was generated on April 3rd. They could be accumulating those generated on April 3rd, 10th & 17th, so provided that they have accumalted "enough" by the 17th it is quite possible that they will send out everything from the above dates this week. So u might be likely to get it this weekend or early next week. So don't give up hope Alenushka--you never know--you might not be waiting as longs u think---lets see--yours probably got in that "batch" at the right time----
