Yell at me

I get a Y membership for $10 a month through work, but I hate going there. So many of the people at our Y are just there to impress the opposite sex it makes me sick to be there. I prefer to do exercise that is fun, like not really exercising.

Tonight we walked to the tennis courts (about 2 miles), played tennis for 35 minutes, then walked home. I also love to dance and as soon as I don't look 7 months pregnant I'll be back on the floor with Abdel right beside me. He loves to dance too!

We plan to go swimming at the beach every Sunday afternoon as soon as it is warm enough. I know from when my kids were little just how much exercise that is. He also wants to play volleyball or frisbee while we're there.

We also have a treadmill, punching bag and home gym which we can use as soon as we can find that room again. Abdel cleaned quite a bit of the mess out of there today so I think we're pretty close to having that back up and running. Sometimes the weather down here is so bad you just don't want to go outside. The humidity gets so heavy it's like walking into a cloud, so when it's over 100 outside it's like walking in a steam room.

No gym for me today, I had too many errands to do after work. Though I'm pleased to report my wedding dress still fits.

We go to the Y. I like it, but sometimes there are some really weird people there. Plus I used to go to a women-only gym, and I LOVED it, so anytime I'm somewhere where there are men I end up missing my old gym. I hate listening to men huffing and puffing and grunting and groaning :P

But yell at me tomorrow, I need to go again then!
