One has to wonder who would be footing the bill for all the new college students. If/when the bill passes. Im sure it'll be the taxpayers, which irritates the ####### out of me. My husband isnt even eligible for the tiniest slice of finanical aid for a lously ESL class at the local community college.

You should move to Tucson, the local community college here offers free ESL classes to those who can prove they are here legally. In Arizona, we voters decided that those here illegally could not get state funded benefits (in-state tuition and this ESL class for example).

Funny though while Olga was in her first class they asked for her proof but at the time she was in that out of status limbo while waiting her Green Card but the NOA on the AOS was sufficient! YAY AZ! =)

yea.. here in NC ESL classes in comm colleges are free too.. if they can make a group over 10 people.. the comm college will give the course for free

in m,y area, the esl are free to anyone..as long as they are a person.......

Ahh well, there's our problem right there! My husband does not exist! He has no SSN. He is therefore a non-person.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Yes, my husband is a non-person. Its still a mystery as to how I got pregnant by a non-person. Thankfully, we didnt have to ask USCIS for permission to do that.
