No biometrics letter.....what should we do? Who should we call?

Hey all, as you can see from the list below, I think we should have received our biometrics appointment letter by now. Let's say my neighbor received it accidentally (and never passed it on to us) or that it was in the junk mail that we throw away without revising very well.....in other words, what if we have an appointment and don't know it? Who should we call to verify? The Customer Service number listed on the NOA? 800-375-5283 I'm starting to get paranoid that we've missed the appointment. :blink:

June 7, 2005 Received e-mail notice stating Supplemental Form to I-693 had been received.

June 16, 2005 AP & EAD approved!!!

August 5, 2005 Received appointment letter for AOS interview: October 20, 2005

October 20, 2005 AOS Interview APPROVED!

If I remember correctly there are also other vj'ers from the Tampa office that have yet to receive their biometric appts and they filed before you. I think someone stated that it might have to do with the Tampa office being busy etc.

I sure hope you do hear from them soon. I know we all hate this waiting game. (At least you are in CSC's hands now :thumbs: )

27th Oct 05 - Received Green Card in Mail (2 yr Conditional)

17th Aug 07 - Check Cleared

20th Aug 07 - NOA received (2 NOA's both with dif. receipt #'s for the same thing hmmm..)

30th Aug 07 - ACS Biometrics letters received

21st Sep 07 - Biometrics appointment at Charlotte

1st Nov 07 - Case status online reads "Card production ordered"

3rd Nov 07 - Greencard received in mail

You could call USCIS customer service and give them your case number from NOA. They will be able to tell you if the letter has been sent out. I called them to check my Biometric appointment date before because we moved. If you do miss the Biometric date, nothing to worry about either. Go to local service center and reshedule it. :)

Kez, I was hoping to stay away from an Info pass appointment b/c it's my husband who will have to go and that means he would have to take off work. We will use that as a last resort though.

Jo- Thanks for the info on the VJers using the Tampa office reporting similar delays. I will keep that in mind.

Deb- Of course I remember you! Thanks for the compliment on our little man (L) We are expecting #2 around the first week of January :)

Yeah, Tampa is slow in giving appts. We only got our bio letter a week or two ago, it's scheduled for Nov 1st. And our NOA is July 26th, so give it a couple more weeks. Others also got there letters recently who sent in the end of July. Don't bother to try calling USCIS until a couple more weeks passes. I tried calling for the heck of it and the automated system could not help since the receipt number on your NOA will not have an existing case yet.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)
