Ok, so my kitties are back on my good side--they killed their first mouse!!:thumbs:

My husband woke up this morning (probably late, as he has Mondays off) and found a dead mouse on the kitchen floor! So nice of them not to leave it for me, as I surely would have screamed--also nice that they didn't eat or decapitate it.

Ah, the joys of living in a 100 year old house in Minnesota as the weather turns cold.

Now if I can only get the kitties to stop eating electrical cords...

Cheers,

Carolyn

Congrats to your kitties Carolyn

We don't have mice, so my cats catch birds...they eat them all except the feathers, beaks and feet, which is quite nasty to find. They have even caught a hummingbird, which amazed me.

I keep trying to tell myself 'it's only nature' but I still have a hard time with it.

We caught a mouse in a trap once but it didn't hurt it so I put it in a pickle jar. My Mother's husband (atilla the #######) took it and threw the mouse into the coal stove
