Well, I feel inferior with all of these polygots here!

Yeah, but you get super bonus points for using "polyglot" correctly :)

I'd rather have near native fluency in another language (or more than one) as well. I don't think I'll ever achieve that with my Spanish unless I move there again (lived in Spain as a child and spoke Spanish as a first language, lost it after moving to the States) but I hope to get there with my German eventually.

jundp: you know, from what I've read about language acquisition in very young children, I bet that your Spanish is still there. Of course, as you said, without having a place to use it, it'd be difficult to get your level back to where it was.

Spanish (native language)

British English (I went to a british school) American English, well there's not a huge difference just words. I can speak and write.

French: basic and necessary...hahaha! I was taking some french classes a few months ago but stopped

Portuguese: I can understand some words but when some brazilians have a strong accent...I'm in trouble! hahaha!

SO

American English (native language)....and that's all :( !!! I think he can say some words and understand a little bit of portuguese thanks to his EX :blink: and he knows a few words & bad words in spanish too, hahaha! I didn't teach him any of that!!!! :D
