Hello.. This is my first post. Sorry for not being more involved in this Visa Journey community. But I do want to say that because of this site, I have been able to keep my sanity. If it was not for this site which tells what the "Real & Actually" process is, then I would not have known what to do. Because like many of you, I filed my 129F in May, at the CSC. I heard NOTHING for 45 days. I called and they said, "OH, we mailed you a copy of your NOA1 on June 5th. Yeah right! Sure you did!!

Anyway, I knew from watching this forum that I should not expect to get my NOA2 any time close to 90 days, which had seemed to be the average up till now. But I see on here now that some of you that got your NOA1's in May, have been getting your NOA2's and approvals.

DOES THIS MEAN THAT MINE SHOULD BE SOON?? My NOA1 date is June 5th.

Also, what should I be doing right now to prepare for my next step after I receive the NOA2?

thanks everyone.. I'll be more active now... I promise.. :)

That seems a bit long. Take a look at the timelines link at the top of the page and look at California under the K-1 link. That should show you what others have experienced.

Hey Jeff,

Welcome to VJ! I also haven't been too active on here, but I've found it comforting to find other people in our situation. We also received NOA1 on 5th June from CSC. Did you actually receive the hard copy? I wasn't sure, from your message.

Have you submitted your timeline (http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/intro.php) on the site? Then you can find out your VJ estimated date for NOA2. Ours has steadily been creeping later and later... currently it's Nov 1st. If you submit your timeline, then go to this post - Waiting for a NOA2 from CSC for your I-129F? - then you can see where you stand on the list the next time our hard-working fellow VJers update it, and also find other people waiting for the nice peeps at CSC to approve us!!

Check your timeline, but what I can say is that we began on may, got our NOA1 on june 1st from Vermont (just like a week after sending more or less), and since then nothing. We also have called to the USCIS customer service with no results

I don´t know what´s going on in CSC, but in Vermont waiting times seems has been duplicated...

Hola Velside!

I thought all K1 visas were sent to California Center, well mine was in Nebraska and right in those times they changed for California. Well may be yours still got to stay in Vermont, lucky you, because I think California is really congested now.

We applied on June the 1st 2007, got the NOA1 on June the 12th they cashed the check of course, but that is all, nothing more, no biometrics nothing. Also called didn't help, congress man investigated but got the same result, we have to wait. Well, here trying not to get crazy and waiting for the NOA2

Good luck to we all!

Well... Maybe all I needed to do was post on this forum for something to happen. I just posted this topic 2 days ago and guess what... Yaahoooooooo... I received email notification today that our petition is APPROVED!!!! WOW.. What a feeling. I called Oksana at 3:00 AM Russia time to tell her... I think it's safe to say that she didn't get back to sleep this night.

So... for all the veterans out there, what can I be doing now to get prepared for what I will need once the NVC forwards to Moscow? Anything other than the financial documentation?
