Congratulations to you all on giving up. If you fall off the wagon, dust yourself down and get back on.

I had my last cigarette March 23rd 2007 so have just had 7 months cigarette free. I am proud of myself too as should you all be.....quitting is NOT easy.

On the upside, it gets easier over time.

You folks keep it up!

i wish my hubby's brothers and dad would quit, it would make it much easier for my hubby to quit.... he doesn't smoke as much and he usually only does when he is around his family...

He's got to want to quit. Really want to. Then it won't matter that his folks smoke.

my hubby is a peer pressure smoker though.... he usually only smokes when other people are smoking and has gone 2 weeks are more without smoking on various vacations etc... we have been on...

tell me about it. I can't encourage my husband, and that's with me succeeding here, can you imgine trying to convince some older man in another country. Never. You know how men are pussies.

Hahaha  sweet compliment!! *two thumbs up* for you.. Btw, my dad and my bro are exceptions tho

Although they both smoke and it is so damn hard to encourage them to stop smoking.

I'm thinking of doing only 1 more week of that med, not to finish the 3 months, maybe after the first month smoke free it'll be easier for me not to smoke anymore without any help.

i'll see the doctor first. I just don't know if I can spend another 2 months feeling this nauseous and with the headaches.

Hey Nessa,

Are you and Charles attempting my "method" to quit smoking yet? I'm sure Charles would be very willing to assist in this matter. :D

i've offered to give her something else to smoke but no luck

I haven't smoked since October 12th. I've had "Cigarette Candy" (Commit Cherry flavour) and some crappy nicotine gum. I chew one or two of the pieces of gum each day now, and that's it. 15 days and I still feel like killing people - it must just be my personality....

The diet went out the window, but I haven't put any weight ON - and that's just as important right now.

Stay with it

Just an update almost 2 months and I haven't had a cigarette. I don't miss it and I feel good.
