I want to apply for a K3 visa.

Hi,

I just got married this summer and I want to apply for K3. My husband lives in Paksitan. And I am a US citizen.

I don't know how long is the K3 process. The problem is I'm a student and I work part time and i don't make enough money to satisfy the affidavit of support requirement. I was thinking of making my parents as my Co-Sponser. Is that possible ? I am also thinking to apply next month, and i'm going to visit my husband again in summer. . I want to be able to go to the interview with my husband. My question is that will he get the interview date in summer if I apply next month ? Anyone who had applied for K3 please tell me your experience. Thanks

It's your husband who will apply for a visa. You will file a petition, which when approved, will allow him to apply for a visa. Sure, your parents can be joints sponsors with you.
