I had submitted a K1 Visa several years ago, but that relationship didn't work out. I am submitting a new K1 Visa request and noticed this time, it doesn't appear that the I-134 Affadavit of support is needed.

Can anyone confirm this for me, the only forms needed for the initial request are the:

I-129F

G325A

I understand the other items needed, i.e. photos, proof of meeting, letters of intent etc, but no

I-134 has to be submitted now?

Does that come later in the process??

The I-134 is needed later after receipt of NOA2. RIght now u don't need it for the petitioning stage. Check out the K1 visa flowsheet guide on visa journey. IT gives u a timeline of things to expect.

Good Luck!

You will probably want to fill out the I-134 later so that it has current data at the time of the interview :). Probably some time after your NOA2 you can begin gathering stuff so it is ready to mail to your fiance for their interview.

The I-134 does not need to be submitted with the initial I-129F application. You can save that for the consulate interview. Be best to get it prepared once you have a rough idea of when your blind date with the consulate is going to be. :)
