My Fiance's middle name is miss spelled (Freemont instead of Fremont) on his Divorce Decree.

The reason this happened is because when he filed for divorce last year we went by his Social Security Card on which his middle name is spelled with two e's ,on his BC it's spelled with one only.

So now my question, will we get an RFE for this?

We CAN make a copy of his SSCard on which it's written with the two e's.........but is that gonna be enough????

We wanted to put the papers in next Monday,no time to get the Divorce Decree changed.........

Best thing if he/she gets an "affidavit of discrepancy" from the court the divorce decree was issued.

Agreed. Then he should be contacting The Social Security Office, all he needs there is his Birth Certificate.
