Hi GUYS, :huh:

Me and my wife are unemployed at the moment and my wife didn't make 17,113 for 2006 that's why I got a co-sponsor. The point is that for 2006 he made 12,885 on W-2 and he is single. On his paystub currently he has 17,500. He is a waiter and doesn't claim all his tips. My lawyer said it is fine but I am still worried. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Was 12,885 before or after taxes? If BEFORE then too low, if AFTER what was your GROSS income?

You may be able to use a letter from employer, and current pay stubs to show income this year and in the future meets the income requirement, or you may use a Joint Sponsor.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

If on W-2 (as the OP indicated) then it would be Gross
