We spent yesterday raking up leaves and the sad part is when i look up at my HUGE tree it doesnt even look like it lost one leaf. This is what i dislike most about the fall is the fall clean up. I hope everybody has a relaxing sunday.

We're finally getting somewhere with the cleaning! All that's left is the kitchen and the sunroom and a lot of dusting. Not feeling so hot today, the stomach bug has me drinking ginger ale already instead of tea :cry2:

Melinda---apple crisp sounds amazing! How's VT weather? We're still kind of waiting for fall as yesterday was 75°! We usually take a trip to VT around Columbus Day weekend--we stop at the Yankee Candle place & the butterfly place in MA, then take the Mohawk Trail over to North Adams MA and eventually end up in Bennington--where there's an awesome shoe store that sells these really warm slippers that I want to get for Ramy :)

Divorced. To hell with him.

 Happy Sunday

Last night, I went to a fundraiser for a family friend that had flesh-eating disease. It is a miracle she made a full recovery. Brought Miss Lexy home with me to spend the night, so her parents could stay and have a fun night together. She is a laugh a minute. We made a log cabin with Lincoln Logs and played with finger paints. At 10pm I made a cup of coffee and caught her drinking it. As we lay down to sleep she said, 'Grammy, I close my eyes to sleep but my head keeps going'. Never let a 4 year old sip coffee at bedtime.

Have a good day ya'll, I'm going to work and hopefully have a client in today to sign a $8,000 deal. That would be oh so sweet.

Morning everyone! Been awhile since I have been here. Hope everyone is doing well. I have been suffering through seriously crazy all day morning sickness. I can only hope it goes away very, very soon. Like maybe right now! I have a full day at church today because daughter has Cathecism after church for 2 hours. Makes for a very long day. Still working like crazy and looking forward to some time off.

Jackie - love the new name and the pic!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey sparrow, yes i love apple crisp - i always make extra of the crispy topping...yesterday was 77 or so here - actualy I am in NH - but real close to VT as well - - hee hee - - love the Yankee Candle Place as well - - yes I am sure Ramy will appreciate those warm slippers - - I told Tarek how cold it gets here - I am not sure he can appreciate the chill until he gets here....have a great day!

I didn't wake up for fajr to take my allergy pills and have been sneezing all day. My sister brought flowers from her garden for an early b-day present and I'm allergic to them. they're sooo pretty though it would be a shame to throw them out but I think it's either them or me.

Jackie it sounds like you had a great time. Lexi is the key to lifting your spirits I think!! :luv:

MMMMM apple crisp, that sounds fabulous. Hatem asked me what I wanted to do for fun this week and I was actually thinking about telling him to take me joyriding up lake michigan and see about picking apples this week. I want to catch a sunrise and pick apples.

now I know thats what we're doing. Its been years since I did that and it was soooo much fun. (Just no wine tasting this trip, bummer)

Jackie- I'm so glad you are having a good time again. call me soon

Have a great sunday everybody!!

Good Morning everyone!

Apple crisp sounds very good and I am tempted to make it but I think I have a triple chunk brownie mix calling out to be baked today :)

and we just discovered there is a Season 6 marathon of MONK on all day, any other Monk fans around here? we love him! SO it looks like we'll have a lounge around the house watching TV, eating brownies and probably some laundry/cleaning/nesting..... Sounds good to me :)

Hope everyone else has a great Sunday

Well I am off to have a late breakfest with my daughter and then shopping. Then I will come and finish the laundry.

I haven't been on much and try to read when I can as I am working two jobs. I get up at 6am out the door at 7:30 to be at work at 8:30. I get off at 5pm and then drive back to be at work at 6pm-8pm. I am doing this Mon-Thrus. Friday I just work my day job. I will slow down maybe but I love counseling and that is my evening job and can't seem to give it up. Hasan is working in construction and doing very well. I am so proud that he is adjusting greatly. He is sporting a 91 Cadillac Seville and since we got it from the orignial owner @$2300 we are very happy about that. We both commute to work, he only has a 30 minute drive as I will once the office in Turlock opens and that should be soon.

I still pray for everyone and think about you. Dawn it is really good to see you posting again.

Jackie I really think about you and so glad to see you doing ok.
